A new experience in laboratory analytics. We launched our in-house lab in 2022 to close the gaps we kept seeing in sample collection, preservation, hold times, and brine analysis — and to deliver the best data to guide critical business decisions.

Essential Water Analysis

A complete picture of your water using procedures built for brine samples.

Anions (Cl, NO₃, PO₄, SO₄, Br), total cations (Al, B, Ba, Ca, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Pb, S, Si, Sr, Zn), pH, alkalinity, conductivity, density, and total suspended solids.

Oil & Grease in Water

IR spectroscopy adapted from ASTM D8193.

The IR method captures volatile fractions that a gravimetric method can lose. We use a larger sample volume and analyze directly from the container for more accurate, repeatable results.

Metals Analysis

Total or dissolved metals, on their own or alongside Essential Water Analysis.

Total or dissolved: Al, B, Ba, Ca, Fe, K, Li, Mg, Mn, Na, Pb, S, Si, Sr, Zn — useful for trending or comparing total versus dissolved values.

Bacteria — ATP Testing

Quantify microbial activity to validate treatment or flag remedial action.

Monitoring planktonic and sessile microbes helps prevent reservoir souring, microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC), and injectivity decline. Customized kits support accurate field preservation.

Bacteria — 16s Sequencing

Identify the specific bacteria present.

Used alongside ATP monitoring to troubleshoot existing challenges, proactively identify emerging problems, and support remedial recommendations.

Biocide Kill Study

Compare biocide performance under process-representative conditions.

On-site kill studies compare products from various vendors, identify optimized application dosages, and determine treatment efficacy so recommendations align with your objectives.

Dynamic Scale Loop Testing

Understand and mitigate inorganic scaling risk.

Test untreated and inhibited brines at high-temperature, high-pressure conditions, measuring differential pressure over time to baseline scaling risk and optimize inhibitor selection and dosage.
